Biomedical Engineer, Neural Engineer, and Rehabilitation Scientist with more than 20 years of international academic and research experience across the Asia–Pacific region, Europe, and North America. I have led and contributed to multidisciplinary research programs in spinal cord stimulation, neuroprosthetics, rehabilitation robotics, wearable technologies, and translational medical device development.
Through the OpenMedTech initiative, I am particularly interested in developing affordable and open-source assistive technologies that expand access to rehabilitation and healthcare innovations worldwide. My work is driven by a commitment to equity, inclusion, and the translation of research into practical solutions that can benefit individuals, communities, and healthcare systems.
